Low Self Esteem and a Poor Attitude are the results of faulty perception (what colour glasses are you viewing life through?) often stemming from childhood conditioning (You’re stupid/lazy/hopeless/bad) and sometimes abuse the breakdown of a relationship or loss of a job in our adult years.
This conditions us to “believe” that we are not worthy, intelligent, brave, capable etc, leading us to make decisions and choices based on a lopsided and not necessarily true operating system (faulty perception)
Can we rip out and replace negatives? Yes
Can we learn to make conscious positive choices? Yes
Can we “bullet proof” ourselves against any of the above? Yes
My background is that of an abusive childhood and years of low self-esteem, until I was sick and tired of being who I thought I was. My solution was a bit extreme, I tried out for The Parachute Regiment, British Airborne Forces and not only survived one of the toughest selection courses of any Army in the World, but I also learned that anyone can make massive changes – if you take it a step at a time.
