On behalf of The Salvation Army, I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your involvement in the National Speakers Association of Australia this year.

As a token of our appreciation I have pleasure in enclosing our “Certificate of Community Service” in recognition of the valuable assistance you have given to The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal.

Also enclosed is a copy of the “NSAA-Salvos Volunteer Speakers Program 2004” which has been put together by Bob Leschen.  We are pleased to inform you that the NSAA program will continue on 2004.  We are hoping to offer more speaking opportunities in the new year – not just within the various Community Service Clubs but we are proposing to include High Schools in our list of speaking arrangements.  Due to the proposed expansion to this Program, our Territorial Headquarters will take over the administration of the Program and will co-ordinate the schedule.

Dear Mike,

On behalf of the Buddhist Federation of Australia and the Organising Committee, I would like to extend to you our appreciation and thank-you for your professional and sensitive input into the organisation and presentation of the first Australian Buddhist General Conference, jointly convened by the Buddhist Federation of Australia, Buddhist Council of Victoria and Victoria University from the 20th to 22nd of February 2004 at the St Albans Campus of Victoria University.

In your role as MC you kept a firm but relaxed control of the daily schedule of speakers, meal breaks, and question times with good humour and unfailing courtesy. 
This was done with subtlety and no aggrandisement of your self, and I am sure, added to every one’s enjoyment of the conference.
